Where your documents are saved
Honest answer, two states:
Right now — DEMO mode
Files you upload are stored only in your own browser's local storage. They do not leave your device. If you clear browser data, files are gone. This mode is for demonstrating the UI only — no real Drive integration yet.
After Firebase + Drive setup — LIVE mode
Your files are uploaded to BQP's dedicated Google Drive workspace at BQP Clients / {Your Name} / {Category} / {FY} / {Month}. Only you + CA Durgesh Chavda have access. Every upload / download is logged in Firestore for audit. 60-90 min setup pending — see setup playbook.
What's inside your portal
On first sign-in, we create your private document folders in BQP's Google Drive, organised by work type — so you always know where to find or upload a document.
How it works
1. Create account on first visit using your BQP-registered phone number. We cross-check against your engagement letter to confirm you are a BQP client.
2. Sign in any time with phone + OTP. Firebase Auth handles the OTP (phone-based 2FA).
3. Upload or download documents from any folder. Files are stored in BQP's dedicated Google Drive workspace with your folder access-controlled.
4. BQP uploads too — when your tax return is filed or your ROC form is lodged, we drop the acknowledgement into the right folder.
5. Access log — every view, upload, download is logged for audit.
